The camp is
situated along the shore of Cowan Lake on Highway 55, 18
miles north of Big River. The lake is 32 miles long and
offers an abundance of Northern Pike, Walleye, and Perch.
This area is well know for the production of trophy sized
northern pike. If your ready for some great northern
pike fishing action, come check out Poplar Point
Resort. Bring your own boat to access the 32 mile long
lake or reserve one of our fishing rental boats. Bait
can be purchased at the resort store as well as various
items of fishing tackle suited to the lake. Pike are
hungry predators and are very aggressive fish. They
will strike many brightly colored lures, spoons, crank
baits, and jig heads.
