Snow geese in the tens of thousands make the Quill Lakes area one of their first stops in their migration south. Canada Geese and Speckled geese also stop to fuel up for their long flight south.  Mallard, Pintail and Teal ducks also frequent the region. Our hunting area in the Quill Lakes region of Saskatchewan is indisputably one of the premier waterfowl hunting areas in North America! It is very common see in excess of 200,000 migratory birds per day coming off our side of the Quill Lakes during the  migratory season.
